Wanabe designs handmade children costumes and dress ups for fun and joyful play. They are made with an authentic old-fashioned look and long-lasting quality and a bit of love. Safe and easy to wear year in and year out for children all over the world! Parents love fine fabrics and well-chosen cotton, an easy fit, smart detail, and of course amazing looks!

The dutch dressmaker was designing costumes at the tender age of six, creating elaborate outfits from recycled bubble wrap, fashioning hats out of newspaper, and flowers from tissues. Fast-forward a few decades and nothing much has changed for the now mother-of-three, apart from her choice of ‘material’. These days she uses preferably mostly natural materials for a freely play.

Inspired as well by "The Old Dress Up Trunk on the Attic", inside old dress ups used for generations. Wanabe is standing for quality and yet affordable costumes for play or everyday use.
